    With Medialab Prado and Agency_VR

La Cuarta Pared VR [The Fourth Wall VR] is an artistic collective based in Madrid with the main goal of creating innovative live and interactive theatre and performance experiences in virtual reality. This project seeks to break the gap between the audience and the story through improvisation and immersive theatre acting techniques and dynamics, allowing the public to become participant of engaging and profoundly affective theatre experiences in dedicated virtual reality worlds. Through our main goal, we seek to reflect about our own artistic practice through academic inquiry to obtain an in-depth understanding about this emergent format and further develop an innovative acting method for virtual reality. We also seek to offer hands-on approach training on virtual reality theatre that will allow its participants to obtain a clear insight about the main theoretical and practical dimensions of live acting and performance in virtual reality.
